Presence is an original 30"x40" oil painting created by Adrianne on sealed birch wood panel, with a hanging wire installed for immediate hanging.
Presence was originally painted as part of the Human Nature collection, and is an exploration of our experience of presence as part of the experiential human wilderness of humanity. It's about what happens when we come to the throne of presence, and the wilderness around us gets the opportunity to meet us there.
Adrianne says: "True presence is incredibly rare, because of what it takes to sit in it. I've learned that presence is like arriving to a burning throne of the moment, and engaging the challenge of truly being right here. When we are finally fully in the present, we gain the ability to engage the full wilderness of connections that are right there around us. And that is a practice that fundamentally changes our impact in the world."
